Reality Fracture Products Delayed After Being Shipped to the Echoverse

Wizards of the Coast recently announced that some Reality Fracture products will arrive later than expected in select regions. The official reason is a mix of production and shipping delays.

The unofficial reason? Jace fixed the supply chain.

Unfortunately, he fixed it the same way he tried to fix the Multiverse.

According to sources who definitely do not exist, several shipments were accidentally routed through the Echoverse, Jace’s carefully manufactured reality where suffering had supposedly been removed. At first, everything seemed fine. The boxes arrived on time, every Collector Booster contained exactly what its owner wanted, and nobody opened twelve copies of the same bulk rare.

That should have been the first warning.

Things got worse when the Echoverse began overlapping with the real Multiverse. Some stores received alternate versions of their orders. One distributor opened a shipment of Commander decks and found that every deck had been replaced by its perfectly balanced counterpart. Test groups described the experience as “pleasant, fair, and completely unrecognizable as Commander.”

Bundles proved especially difficult to recover. Several are believed to be sitting inside Hexhaven, where the leaves never need raking, the ink never runs dry, and every shipment is marked “out for delivery” forever.

Collector Boosters presented an entirely different problem. Their shattered mirror cards kept showing warehouse workers alternate realities in which the order had already arrived. This made tracking numbers technically accurate, depending on which Multiverse you happened to be standing in.

The situation finally fell apart when Tam invited Emrakul to consume the Echoverse. While this prevented Jace’s artificial Multiverse from merging permanently with the real one, it also meant that an unknown number of booster displays, Commander decks, and oversized Spindown dice were eaten by an Eldrazi titan.

Wizards’ logistics team is reportedly working to recover what remains. Jace could not be reached for comment, largely because he is dead. The Theorist also could not be reached for comment, largely because he is Jace—and therefore has the same problem.

The good news is that Play Boosters and Prerelease Packs are still expected to arrive on schedule. Everything else should reach stores as soon as Wizards determines which reality it was shipped to.

So, if your Reality Fracture preorder is late, try to be patient. Somewhere in the Multiverse, another version of you probably received it early. Hopefully, that version of you is willing to trade.
